Digital Collectibles are a new way to show off your NFTs on Instagram

Over the past year, the popularity of digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has exploded. These unique digital assets can be used to represent anything from artwork and video games to sports highlights and virtual worlds. Now, Facebook and Instagram are making it even easier for users to share their NFTs with the world.
Starting this week, select US-based creators and collectors will be able to test out the new NFT sharing feature on Instagram. This feature includes the ability to connect a digital wallet, share digital collectibles, and automatically tag the creator and collector. There will be no fees associated with posting or sharing a digital collectible on Instagram.
This is just the latest example of Facebook and Instagram’s commitment to making it easy for users to buy, sell, and share digital collectibles. In May of 2021, Facebook launched a dedicated marketplace for NFTs, and in June, Instagram began testing a similar feature. Now, with the roll-out of this new feature, anyone in the US will be able to share their NFTs with ease.
So whether you’re a creator looking to share your latest work with the world, or a collector looking to show off your prized possessions, be sure to check out the new NFT sharing feature on Facebook and Instagram!
