Bancor has announced that it will be pausing its impermanent loss protection

As the months-long selloffs have shown no signs of reversal, many DeFi protocols have fallen deep into the crisis mode due to liquidity strains as investors withdraw funds from liquidity pools. In response to this, Bancor has suspended its Impermanent Loss Protection program in order to protect the protocol and its users. This is a bold measure that will hopefully help stabilize the market and allow Bancor to continue operating successfully. Deposits are currently not being accepted in order to prevent confusion, but withdrawals are still possible. Users who remain in the protocol will continue earning yields and be entitled to withdraw their fully-protected value when IL protection is reactivated
